today is 5th of September... i saw one of my friend writing blog.. first time i feel tat he was so skeemmm.. :D

The end(seventh week reflection)

last but not least, at last we( Hilman and i ) manage to reach here..... First of all i would like to say good morning, good afternoon and good evening to all the reader. For assignment 8, we learnt "Learning about Spreadsheet". We had to use Open Office for this task. Then we had to plan, create and edit a simple personal financial management (income and spending) spreadsheet using Calc. The sheets were named according to month (i.e. July, August, September) and according to Mr, Fariduddin's explanation we had to create a formula to calculate a balance for each month (each month's balance will be linked to the other balance).

One the other hand, for the assignment 9, we had to create database using Open Office Base. we were ask to create a simple database about student's management information using Open Office Base.

Firstly, we had to plan the data structure for student's management information for each table. Then we had to create four tables - student table, parent table, curriculum table, and co-curriculum table. After all that was done, we had to create relationships with the tables by linking their student ID.

Next, we needed to create forms (by using Wizard) - student form, parent form, curriculum form, co-curriculum form and enter the data there afterwards. Later, we had to create several queries (i.e. student, parents etc.) and lastly, we had to create a report based on the queries.

The end?? no.... another week to go... (our EXAM!!!!) good bye all... got fate meet in dream.

sixth week's reflection

week 6 week 6... after this week, one more week to go... This week is all about presentation and creativity which was called "Creative Effective Multimedia Production".

Task 7a is about a presentation (based on assignment 5) using Impress (Open Office). The completed presentation was then uploaded to Yahoo!Groups. The task was quite easy for us as we only had to rephrase and adjust a bit of the information from assignment 5. Hilman my superhero, help me and assist me a lot in doing the task given.

On the other hand, for task 7b, it is about multimedia course ware, consisting of videos, animated pictures, recorded and edited sounds and etc. (based on assignment 1). Again, hilman and i like power point very much. therefore we manage to make the slides as interesting as possible.









 

Fifth week's reflection

Hi Norhilman, we are team again. v(^.^)v Moving on to 5th week, we were required to create a brochure using Microsoft Publisher and a booklet using Microsoft Word. Together with Hilman, we try to different way to decorate and design our brochure. At last we manage to create a brochure that both of us like.The brochure was really easy for us to manage. However, the booklet really make our head big because we had to implement what we have learnt during the first few weeks of lectures and put it into the booklet and leaflet as well.

Inserting the proper amount of visuals and graphics made our project successful. Seriously, playing with colors and design is both of us favorite, it eventually increases our level of attentiveness to work. When all of that was completed, we had to upload it to our Yahoo!Groups web page and let everyone see it. Well done for both of us. see you!!

Forth week's reflection

   Honestly, this week, if without my partner(Norhilman Hussin) i surely cant finish the task given by my lecturer.  We had to analyze the data that we have collected from the questionnaire which is using the SurveyMonkey and Googledoc. Next, we have to use Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) to analyze the data using. After that, we ask to write a report or journal using the open office. In my opinion, it is good to do survey through online cause it is faster and easier compare to using paper and passing around. Through the report and journal, we can easily see statistic of the survey answer by the respondent.  hooray!! another week pass. bye this week.

Third week's reflection

Another week had pass, this week we have three assignment which is the research for C/LMS, the literature review and Monkey Surveys. For the research for C/LMS, we need to know wat is C/LMS. LMS is defined as a set of software application or Web-based application that is used to manage online learning and training. LMS is usually used to plan, implement and assess specific learning needs of an organization.  It helps the students to have a virtual space to interact, have discussion or web-conferences. Besides that, for the literature review, my partner(Norhilman Hussin) and i worked together to find suitable journals from google before we start. We then read journal slowly and try identify our problem statement. Next is monkey surveys. Again together with my beloved partner, Norhilman Hussin, we create 30++ question to make a survey. It's good to know that our survey did get a lot of response from our course mate and some of them are volunteer respondent.

Second week's reflection

This week, we had a quite interesting task which is called Think, Pair and Share. We were asked to choose any of the given topic and we had to study the topic individually (Think). For my topic, I chose Learning About ICT and I was pairing with Norhilman Hussin(Pair). The topic was quite challenging but my partner did help me a lot in find out about the learning about ICT.

            After that, we had to start a discussion in our official Facebook groups. We were also asked to share the document in the group and discuss about the chosen topic (Share). We as the moderators also need to give comment and response. (Online Discussion).

            The task is really tough but due to the help of our course lecturer and coordinator, we can manage to finish our task. We really appreciate their guidance and support. (24/7)
